« Newsies Purchase from hermanstreet_music »

The order was shipped in a really fast manner, and was NEW exactly as described. Due to a mail organizing problem to the address it was sent to, I contacted the seller with questions, which they answered in a courteous and timely manner. Thanks! .:. Rating: 5 / 5

« Can't believe I missed this one back in 1992... »

I just watched this movie for the first time on Starz kids & family and absolutely loved it! Perhaps Disney was ahead of its time releasing a movie musical with popular actors singing and dancing like the very popular HSM series. Christian Bale (the newest batman) is great as a young actor and carries this film. I also enjoyed the large scale production numbers and the music. I say this is a must buy for my nieces & nephews this Christmas and I'm sure to get a copy for myself as well. joe .:. Rating: 5 / 5

« My new favorite movie!! »

From the very beginning, I loved this movie. The opening song "Carrying the Banner" made me shiver (in a good way). And I have to say, I'm extremely impressed at all of the boys in this movie. They created such a friendly, family-like atmosphere together. There are some great dancers, great singers, great actors...it's all great!
The story in and of itself is based on a true story about the Newsie strike in the 1800's, which makes it somewhat educational.
Christian Bale and his co-stars pulled off great performances, especially considering many of them knew nothing about dancing and singing at first.
It's completely family-friendly film, with great songs, great dance numbers, and a message that promotes kids and equality. .:. Rating: 5 / 5
